Here are the last of my imaginary cat breeds.  I re-did D and N.  Thank-you, Gemma, for your suggestion on pen angle.  It made all the difference.  U is Ulster for long heavy coat. V is Vulpinese meaning fox like.  W is Whidding for nimble and silent.  Xeric is next for of the desert.  Yalaghan cats have saber like claws. Zibeline cats have soft lustrous coats.  Dhurrie means thick flat coat and Nainsook is a very soft coat the color of muslin.  My "place" is our cat shelter and over the years we have had cats of every description.  Now I will be on the look out for these special ones!  Thanks for looking.   Anita

  1. These have been so cool! I might borrow the idea for all the dragons living in my imagination! I have done a series of small quilts about dragons/fire creatures of varying types and making up stories about them. (For instance, a Lavadog Retriever pup) So, I just might have to stretch that to imaginary names going with the letters of the alphabet!

  2. I, too, have many dragons! One, Luna, lives as a tattoo on my leg. It would very interesting to see what you come up with.

  3. I'm steel wondering which one could be mine ... but each cat is just unique !
I'm waiting for your alphabet as a whole !

  4. It has been a delight wandering through you replace with you, and I look forward to seeing the final feline format!

Thank you for taking the time to comment - we appreciate hearing from you!
