I have really enjoyed this project and just wish I'd joined it earlier.  The work done by members has been beautiful, inspiring and so imaginative.

Not only are some of the letters wonky but they are also upside down - I think I'll just describe it as artistic licence....

Hopefully all the letters will be assembled by the time the last ones are posted.  Already I'm looking forward to next year's challenge!

Sabi's Place Alphabet - India Part 2

Here are my letters for August and September. 

A small confession - I loved making these pieces so much that the entire Place alphabet has been done!  But for now I'm just posting the eight pieces for August and September, continuing in the same theme and style.  Some of the block printing was decidedly wonky....

Free Alphabet - finished

I've finished the free alphabet but, rather foolishly, forgot to post the last letters before assembling the book.  However, they are all present!

The only thing I could think of doing with the letters to keep the finished article a manageable size was to make it into a concertina book.  And yes, it's very long but children love it.

This is the front showing that all the letters are present and correct.

Parts 2 and 3

I've not been diligent in posting my contributions but I have done them!  The alphabets for February, March and April are here and the remainder will be done very soon.  Then I need to think how I will use the pieces.  The format is probably saying "make me into an accordion book" but it will be rather long....
